"Confusing and really slow"
The whole experience was frustrating. It felt confusing to use, and everything took way longer than I expected. Not saying it’s a scam, but it definitely didn’t give me much confidence while I was trying to get through it.

"Deals are decent, but the details keep shifting"
Magshop was okay overall and I did end up finding a decent deal, but the promo info could definitely be clearer. I felt like I had to click around way too much just to figure out what was actually included and when the price would change. It kind of felt like the goalposts kept moving the closer I got to checkout, which is frustrating when you’re just trying to know what you’re paying for. Not a bad site, but I wish the offers were laid out more upfront.

"Not the easy gift I expected"
I bought a gift subscription through magshop.com.au thinking it would be a simple, hassle-free present, but it ended up being more of a headache than I expected. The delivery details weren’t very clear, and my friend didn’t receive anything for ages, which made the whole thing feel awkward since it was meant to be a gift. Customer service did respond, but it felt slow. I was expecting a smooth gifting experience, and it really didn’t turn out that way. I probably wouldn’t use it again for a gift subscription.

"Still Waiting on Any Kind of Resolution"
Support kept telling me to wait, but how long is someone supposed to wait? They said a refund was coming, then nothing. They mentioned a replacement too, but that never showed up either. At some point, what are you even supposed to do besides feel completely ignored?

"Decent magazine access, but the app could be smoother"
I was able to get into my magazine subscription without any real trouble, so that part was fine. But this is where it got annoying: the app can be hit or miss. Sometimes it randomly logs me out, and other times it takes forever to load the newest issue. Once everything finally opens, reading is okay, but the whole experience just doesn’t feel very smooth. For the price, it’s not bad, but I definitely expected the digital side to be easier to use.

"I ordered this last week and it..."
I ordered this last week and it showed up right on time, so no complaints with delivery. When I first flipped through the magazine, the colours looked decent overall, but after sitting down with it later that evening, I noticed a few pages seemed a little dull. One corner also had some light smudging, which wasn’t a huge deal, but it stood out to me. It’s still totally readable and not a bad print by any means, I just expected it to look a bit sharper for the price

"Charged the wrong amount again"
I got billed the wrong amount again, and when I contacted support, they still didn’t fix it. What made it even more frustrating was having to verify my account over and over like they couldn’t keep track of the conversation. Really annoying experience

"Magazine showed up bent"
I ordered a magazine from magshop.com.au and it did arrive, so that part was fine. The problem was the condition it came in wasnt great.

Both corners of the cover were bent and there was a big crease running across the front. It looked like it had just been shoved into the mail without much care.

I know its only a magazine, but if Im buying it new, I expect it to show up looking new. Bit disappointing, and Im not sure Id order from them again...

"Pretty decent, but a little hit and miss"
I’ve picked up a few magazines through Magshop, and some of them have been good, honestly. The only thing is, the content isn’t always as interesting as I thought it would be. A couple of issues felt a bit light, or had too many articles that seemed kind of similar. It’s still fine for casual reading, and I don’t regret trying it, but it’s not always something I’m really excited to sit down with

"Magazine arrived bent and nobody seems to own the issue"
I ordered a single magazine and it showed up in this thin, flimsy mailer with basically no protection at all. By the time I got it, the corners were bent and the cover had a noticeable crease. What made it more frustrating is that it’s not really clear who’s responsible here, the seller, the shipper, or whoever packed it. Everyone kind of feels like they can point the finger somewhere else. Disappointing and not what I expected.

"Delivery Took Way Too Long"
The delivery showed up much later than I expected, and the updates weren’t really helpful at all. I was just kind of waiting around with no clear idea when it would actually arrive, which got annoying. Something about it just felt more frustrating than it needed to be

"This ended up being more hassle…"
This ended up being more hassle than I expected. They missed two issues, and getting support to sort it out took way too long. I kept feeling like I was losing time I shouldn’t have had to spend on this. For me, it just wasn’t worth the hassle

"Easy tracking, just a bit of a wait"
The tracking was super easy to follow, which I really appreciated because I kept checking it more than I probably needed to. They also emailed me when it shipped, so that was helpful. It did take a little longer than I was hoping, but no big deal in the end. Everything worked out fine.

I gave magshop.com a try because I figured it might have some decent subscription deals, but the prices didn’t really impress me. A bunch of the subscriptions were more expensive than I expected, which was a bit annoying, not gonna lie, and when I compared them with other sites, the discounts didn’t seem all that great either. Maybe it’s fine for some people, but for me it just didn’t feel like good value for money. I probably wouldn’t use it again.

I bought from them one time and then the emails just kept coming nonstop. Maybe this is how they treat all customers after a purchase, but it got annoying quickly for me...

"Subscription changes were a hassle"
I just wanted to change or cancel my subscription and it ended up being way more annoying than it needed to be, because the site kept bouncing me around in circles and I couldn’t find a clear way to do it myself so I eventually had to reach out to support, which did get me there in the end but wasn’t a great experience tbh.
